Petropavlovsk Vodka Factory: A New Chapter of a Legendary Enterprise

Within the Global Beverages holding, a large-scale reconstruction of one of its key production assets — the Petropavlovsk Vodka Factory (PVZ) — has been completed.

Founded in 1942, this historic enterprise is entering a new era with fully upgraded production facilities. As a result of the modernization launched in 2023, the plant has received fully automated European equipment covering all stages of the technological process.

The plant’s production capacity now reaches up to 36 million bottles per year (18 million liters).

Focus on quality: automation significantly increases the stability and precision of all production operations.

Investment in the economy: in 2023, the company contributed more than 15.6 billion tenge to the state budget, of which 13.5 billion were excise taxes. In 2024, contributions are expected to rise to 21.6 billion tenge.

The reconstruction of PVZ is more than just an equipment upgrade — it is a contribution to the development of the region:

  • Creation of new jobs

  • Growth of economic activity in the North Kazakhstan region

  • Strengthening Kazakhstan’s position as a producer of high-quality alcoholic beverages

Global Beverages continues its strategic course toward developing local production, modernizing infrastructure, and improving product quality in accordance with the best international standards.
